The European Charter of Local Self-Governance celebrates 25th anniversary

On October 29, in the Council of Europe was held a solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the ratification of the European Charter of Local Self-Government – the first international Treaty that enshrines the principle of the transfer of powers and adequate financial resources to municipal governments.

Official Crimean delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, took part in the solemn ceremony on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the ratification of the European Charter of Local Self-Government, that took place at the Council of Europe (Strasbourg) on October, 29.
