Vladimir Andreyevich KONSTANTINOV
Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Born on November 19, 1956 in Vladimirovka village of Slobodzeyskiy region of Moldova SSR. Possesses higher education, graduated from Simferopol branch of Sevastopol instrument-making institute, majored in industrial and civil engineering. Honorable Professor of Crimean institute of nature protection and resort development. Member of the Party of regions.
In 1973 graduated from Nauchnenskaya secondary school of Bakhchisarayskiy region. Started his labour activity in September 1973 as rock-cutting machine operator assistant of Alminsk building materials factory of Krymstroydetal trust (Simferopol). September 1974 - July 1979 – student of Simferopol branch of Sevastopol instrument-making institute. August 1979 - October 1979 – foreman of the Crimean repair-building department, Simferopol. November 1979 - June 1981 – military service in the Armed Forces of USSR.
Worked in the Crimean specialized repair-building department of Ukrremstroymaterialy trust as a foreman (August 1981 – April 1982), chief superintendent engineer (April 1982 – October 1986), chief engineer (October 1986 – January 1989) and head of the department (January 1989 – June 1991). June 1991 - June 1993 – director general of the rental firm "Konsol". July 1993 - August 1998 – director general of the company limited "Konsol LTD".
August 1998 - September 2001 – president-chairman of the company limited "Konsol LTD". September 2001 - November 2001 – president of the company. December 2001 - August 2004 – chairman of the corporation "Ukrrosbud".
August 2004 - March 2010 – president of the corporation "Ukrrosbud".
Since March 17, 2010 – Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Married, has two children.
Awards:
Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of the 1998-2002, 2006-2010 convocations. Since 2010 – deputy of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea of the 6th convocation, elected from the Crimean republican organization Party of regions. Chairman of the deputy faction of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea "Regions of Crimea". |
