Near the Bakhchisarai took place traditional reconstruction of the battle of Alma

On September 28, at the mouth of the river Alma in Bakhchisarai took place military-historical reconstruction of one of the episodes of the first major battles of the Crimean War of 1853-1856.

The event, organized by the Supreme Council of ARC, the autonomy's government, Crimean republican Institution “Bakhchisarai Historical and Cultural Reserve”, and also by the founder of the “Museum of the Sheremetevs” Aleksey Sheremetiev was held under the republican activities approved by the Organizing Committee of the Crimean Parliament to perpetuate the memory of soldiers who died in the Crimean War of 1853-1856.
