The law on subsurface resources of the Republic of Crimea has been adopted in the second reading

Deputies of the Crimean Parliament adopted on 30 July in the second reading the draft law “On subsurface resources”, which regulates relations arising in connection with the geological study, use and protection of subsurface resources on the territory of the Republic of Crimea, besides the subsoil of the continental shelf and exclusive economic zones.

The law defines the principles of subsoil use; the powers of authorities, including local authorities in this sphere; established as to who may be subsoil users, their basic rights and obligations, types of subsoil use, the terms and the procedure of providing the bowels for the study and mining of minerals, and so on.
