Crimean delegation visited the legislative body of the Republic of Tatarstan

On August 29, the State Council of Tatarstan visited the delegation of the Republic of Crimea, comprised of the Chairman of the Parliament of Crimea Remzi Ilyasov and Chairman of the State Republican Committee on Interethnic relations and Deported Citizens Zaur Smirnov. On behalf of the government of Tatarstan Parliament they were met by the Deputy Chairman of RT state Council Alexander Gusev.

After a nickel tour on the parliamentary centre was held an official meeting of Tatarstan and Crimean parliamentarians, in which the side of Tatarstan was also attended by the Chairman of the Committee on State Building and Local Self-Government Valentina Lipuzhina and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Law and Order Rafil Nugumanov. Alexander Gusev told the guests about the socio-economic situation of Tatarstan, the Republic's achievements in industry and construction, emphasizing the importance of a confident transition to an innovative way of development. He also informed Crimeans about the activities of the State Council on the upcoming September elections.
