In Yalta discussed prospects of development of Crimea as a base of sanatorium-resort treatment

In the sanatorium “Russia” was held a round table “Legislative provision of medical rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment”, organized by the Committee of the State Duma fon Health Protection.

The round table was attended by the Committee Chairman Sergey Kalashnikov, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the tate Council of the Republic of Crimea on Sanatorium-Resort Complex and Tourism Aleksey Chernyak, Deputy Head of the government of the Republic Serdey Donich, health Minister Pyotr Michalchevskiy, leaders of the Crimean sanatoriums and health resorts, as well as institutions of the health complex of the resort regions of the Russian Federation.

In the framework of the round table discussed a wide range of issues related to the need for enhanced development of the recreational complex of Crimea as a resort for the treatment, rehabilitation and recovery. Due to the fact that the Crimea became part of sanatorium-resort complex of the Russian Federation, the roundtable participants drew attention to the need to define the Concept of the development of the region for providing medical rehabilitation, taking into account natural-climatic conditions, as well as available scientific developments in medicine. In this direction, first of all, it is necessary to prepare relevant legislation, which was proposed to create a regional Interdepartmental working group.
