Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov held a number of meetings with management and employees of medical institutions of Crimean capital.

Crimean speaker, members of the Presidium and members of Parliament of the Republic visited the Republican clinical hospital named after N. A. Semashko and the Crimean Republican establishment “Children's clinical hospital”.

During a conversation, participants discussed the issues of development of the healthcare sector in the transition period, as well as issues of pricing of medicines, the development of the national network of pharmacies and necessity of closing private.

According to the Head of Crimean Parliament, in Crimea takes place active work on substitution of private medical institutions with the territory of the state. “This is due to the high prices offered by private medical services, and the availability of modern equipment, which comes in Crimea for the state hospitals, and is used in some hospitals only for financial gain, and not a real aid to the needy. It will not take place any longer”, - said the Speaker.
