The bill “On the people's militia - the national team of the Republic of Crimea” should be brought into line with Federal legislation

At the joint session of Permanent Commission of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on Cooperation with Law Enforcement and Regulatory authorities and specialized working group discussed the draft law of the Republic of Crimea “On the people's militia - the national team of the Republic of Crimea”, adopted by the Crimean Parliament in the first reading on May 21, 2014.

During the discussion of the draft law which has caused a great public resonance, comments were made in the articles concerning the legal status, responsibilities, rights and responsibilities of people's arms, organizing the activities of the militias, financing, etc.

In connection with the draft law “On the people's militia - the national team of the Republic of Crimea” contradictions with Federal legislation, it was decided to send the bill for revision.
