Parliamentary newspaper “Krymskie Izvestiya”: “Decree on the rehabilitation, which had been waiting over twenty years”

Since the 1990's, the representatives of the repressed peoples of the Peninsula were achieved their rehabilitation. However, in Ukraine, the part of which Crimea until recently had been, the law of the deported had not been not adopted. But as the phrase goes, better late than never. Russian President Vladimir Putin informed about the preparation of the document on the traditional “Direct line”.

And soon the day, which had been waiting over twenty years, has come. Has been signed the decree designed to restore historical justice and the good name of the Armenians, Bulgarians, Greeks, Crimean Tatars and Germans subjected to illegal persecution, to promote their political, spiritual and social renewal.
