The Vice-speaker Remzi Ilyasov: “Decision of the representative body of Crimean Tatars to boycott the elections to the state Council was a hasty”

The decision of the representative body of Crimean Tatars to boycott the upcoming elections to the State Council of the Republic of Crimea and bodies of local self-government was adopted hastily and without proper in this case, consultation with the Crimean Tatar community. It was stated by Deputy Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Remzi Ilyasov.

According to the Vice-speaker, for Crimean Tatars is more expedient to participate in the elections.

“As for the majority system, it is necessary by all means to take part in the elections”, - said R. Ilyasov. He also explained that participation in the elections will show the loyalty of Crimean Tatars to the ongoing processes in Crimea.
