Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov: “Association in the framework of a single state will contribute to prosperity of the brotherly Nations and in the interests of Russia”

On March 20 at the additional session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, deputies considered two draft law on the adoption of the Republic of Crimea in structure of Russia.

Presenting, by order of the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin, projected laws No 475948-6 “On ratification of the Treaty between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea on the adoption in the Russian Federation the Republic of Crimea and education in the Russian Federation in new players» and no 475944-6 «On enactment of the Russian Federation Republic of Crimea and the formation within the Russian Federation of new members - Republic of Crimea and city Sevastopol”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov noted that the reunion of the Crimea with Russia is on the background of the tragic events in Ukraine, which has committed a coup d'etat.
