All healthy forces of Ukraine should be united in our aspiration to stop the violence, robbery, anti-constitutional actions. This was discussed at the meeting of Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov and Chairman of the Council of Federation Valentina Matvienko in Moscow on 20 February.

According to the press service of the Council of Federation, V. Matvienko expressed confidence that the majority of the residents of Ukraine are interested in maintaining the integrity and order in the country. “In Russia are alarmed by the situation in Ukraine”, - said Speaker of Federation Council and expressed condolences to the families of the victims in Kiev. According to her, “what is going irrelevant to peaceful shares, it is an obvious attempt a coup to seize power by force”.

Chairman of the Crimean Supreme Council stressed that the Crimean authorities will act strictly in the constitutional-legal field. “Crimeans are one of the pillars for the Central government, which stand to the end, because under the power we mean the state itself, the very Foundation of life, the whole system of values”.
