In the State Duma took place the meeting of state Duma deputies with the delegation of the Republic of Crimea

Opening the meeting, Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin noted the importance of signing of interstate agreement on the adoption to the part of Russia the Republic of Crimea and the formation of two new subjects of the Russian Federation.

“Certainly, this is a milestone not only in the history of modern Russia, but in the long history of our country. It is a watershed event in world history - the turning point in the confrontation between good and evil, black and white”, – said Sergey Naryshkin.

After the judgment by the Constitutional Court of Russia of a positive decision on the constitutionality of signed international treaties, the Russian President will submit to the State Duma for ratification the Treaty and the draft Federal constitutional law. “I would like to assure everyone that the State Duma will provide in the shortest terms the adoption of these two historic legislation. We will do everything to maintain the Crimean especially in this difficult transition period”, - said Chairman of the state Duma.
