Crimean Parliament proposed to establish 18 of May as the Day of memory of victims of deportation on grounds of nationality from Ukraine at the state level

The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea addressed the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych with proposal to set a Day of memory of victims of deportation on grounds of nationality from Ukraine as a memorable date and to mark it on May 18, at the all-Ukrainian level. The relevant appeal made at the regular plenary meeting of session of Crimean Parliament on February 19, 2014.
