Head of the faction “The Union” in Crimean Parliament Svetlana Savchenko: “the 60th anniversary of the finding of Crimea in structure of Ukraine is not a festive date”

Speaking at the plenary session of the Supreme Council of ARC on February 19 on the issue of improvement of the constitutional and legal status of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and extend the powers of the autonomy, the head of the faction “The Union” in Crimean Parliament Svetlana Savchenko noted:

“What is the main purpose of the existence of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea? The main goal is the realization of the potential of Crimea: human, natural, historical. It is the achievement of a decent standard of living for all senses: spiritual, material, cultural, social, and physical. It is the compliance with long-term interests of socio-economic development of Crimea requires the implementation of economic independence, which means the right of the Crimean people on the use, possession and disposal all the resources of the Peninsula and its potential”.
