In Simferopol marked the anniversary of the signing of the Manifesto on the annexation of Crimea to Russia

On April 18, was held a ceremony of laying flowers at Dolgorukov obelisk dedicated 231-th anniversary of the signing of the Manifesto of Catherine II on joining of Crimea to Russia.

Welcoming the audience, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov stressed the remarkableness of this historical date.

“Today we not only mark 231-th anniversary of the signing of the historic manifest. All Crimea is a bunch of Russian history, contradictory, tragic and heroic. We are bearers of a great history, and it explains such a high level of patriotism of Crimean citizens. Today's feast is symbolic that we celebrate the restoration of historical justice in the point of intersection of the ages. After all, less than a month ago Republic of Crimea has became the part of the Russian Federation as the subject of Federation”, - said the Speaker.
