Crimean Parliament adopted in the first reading the draft law “On Public Chamber of the Republic of Crimea”

The corresponding resolution was adopted at the extraordinary plenary meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on April 18, 2014. The bill gives an opportunity to the opposition to take part in the legislative process.

The Head of the State Council Vladimir Konstantinov stressed the importance of this bill, because it gives an opportunity to the opposition to take direct and active participation in the legislative process.

According to G. Joffe, the proposed draft Law was developed jointly with the staff of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation and in full accordance with the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Federal law “On Public Chamber of the Russian Federation”.
