The Crimean Parliament adopted in the first reading the draft law of the Republic of Crimea “On the State Council of Republic of the Crimea”

The corresponding resolution was adopted at the extraordinary plenary meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea on April 18, 2014.

The Head of the State Council Vladimir Konstantinov said that this is the first bill which considers the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea.

V. Konstantinov said that the law defines legal principles of organization and activity of the Crimean Parliament, the principles of its activity. In structure it consists of six chapters and 28 articles. In the law are written out in detail the procedure for the formation and activities of the State Council, its powers. The main form of work of the State Council remain sessions.
