Parliamentary Commission on health-resort complex discussed the issue of categorization of objects of accommodation

At the meeting of Permanent Commission of the Supreme Council of ARC on Health-Resort Complex, Tourism and Enterprise, headed by the Chairman of the commission Aleksey Chernyak, deputies discussed the issue of categorization of objects of accommodation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

During the meeting it was noted that the Law of Ukraine “On peculiarities of investment activity on the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea”, in force since 7 February 2014, was brought in categorization of objects of tourist infrastructure, including intended for the provision of accommodation services, catering. However, do not provide services to invest without the presence of evidence establishing the appropriate category. Thus, proceeding from the norms of the law, categorization is mandatory for all means of accommodation. However, arrangements for the procedure and parameters of the Cabinet of Ministers have not been developed yet.
