The profile Commission of the Crimean Parliament proposes to increase the number of ARC fellowships to young athletes

At the meeting of the Permanent Commission of SC ARC on Education, Science, Youth Affairs and Sports discussed a number of amendments into the regulations on fellowships of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to young athletes.

The Chairman of Permanent Commission Valeriy Kosarev, in particular, noted that adopted in November 2011 the decree “On fellowships of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to young athletes” stipulates that the fellowships are awarded to 50 candidates (of which 10 persons belonging to the category of persons with disabilities); fellowships in the amount of the subsistence level are appointed to young athletes aged 18 to 23 years old; also taken into account the rating of the athlete as a result of participation in the competitions.
