Crimea ready for the spring field work 2014

At the meeting of profile Permanent Commission of Crimean Parliament discussed the preparation of agricultural enterprises of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea for the spring field work in 2014.

According to the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of the autonomy Nikolay Polyushkin, in Crimea the complex of spring field works is being held into account the proposals of scientific institutions and according to the plans approved by the government of the autonomy.

Under the harvest of the 2014 winter crops are placed on the square 430,7 thousand hectares While in Saky, Chernomorsk, and Kirov regions, is marked decrease of areas to conduct sowing of winter crops.

In Crimea, as of February of this year, in good condition is 264.9 thousand hectares (64,2%), in satisfactory conditions – 121.1 thousand hectares (30,1%), weak and thinned to 23.5 thousand hectares (of 5.7%).
