By July 2014 average size of pensions of civil Crimeans will exceed 10 thousand rubles

At the meeting of Permanent Commission of SC RC on Social Matters, Public Health and Veterans` Affairs discussed issues of pension provision in Crimea during the transitional period and on adjusting the system of pension provision in the Republic to the standards of the Russian Federation.

The head of the Pension Fund of RC Lyudmila Kudryavtseva informed deputies that from April 1, 2014 Pension Fund of the Republic of Crimea and its territorial management function in a regular mode. Currently, the Pension Fund of Crimea as recipients of pensions are registered 551 thousand people, including 5.8% or 31.9 thousand people - pensioners of power structures. This means that every 4th citizen of the Peninsula is a pensioner.
