The Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin congratulated residents of Crimea with the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Crimean cities from fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War.

The message particularly reads: “I heartily congratulate You on the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Crimean cities from fascist invaders during the Great Patriotic War.

It is symbolic and joy that we are celebrating this important date together with Crimean people in single, reunified country. Historical memory and love to the Motherland has always brought us together, helping them to survive and to win in the most difficult times. T'was ever thus and always will be.

I wish our dear veterans and all Crimean citizens health, peace and well-being".
