Meeting of Permanent Commission of SC ARC on Culture

At the meeting of Permanent Commission of the Supreme Council of ARC on Culture under the chairmanship of the Commission Sergey Tsekov deputies considered the report of the Republican Committee of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea on the Protection of Cultural Heritage on its activities.

Presenting the report, Chairman of the Department Larisa Opanasyuk stressed that in 2013, the priority directions became certification and preservation of objects of cultural heritage associated with the events of the Great Patriotic war of 1941-1945, the development of new activities: preservation of underwater cultural heritage, promotion of non-financial cultural heritage and inclusion of cultural heritage objects in new tourist routes.

In addition, members of the Commission requested the Chairman of Permanent Commission of the autonomy Parliament on Culture Sergey Tsekov to prepare a draft decision of the Supreme Council of ARC “On Program of development of culture and protection of cultural heritage for 2011-2015” and enter it in the agenda of the plenary meetings of SC ARC on March 2014.
