Regions of Ukraine should be consolidated in the effort to preserve the integrity of the state

In the framework of the all-Ukrainian forum of representatives of regional councils and the Supreme Council of Crimea in the course of discussion were expressed opinions about peaceful and constitutional ways of withdrawal of Ukraine from the political crisis.

Thus, the Chairman of Kyiv Regional Council Aleksandr Kachniy stressed that according to the results of the forum the President of the Ukrainian Association of Local and Regional Councils, Chairman of Kharkiv Regional Council Sergey Chernov has to speak at the session of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, in order to bring up the main proposals of deputies of regions: main for the out of crisis today is the decentralization of power, decentralization of budgets, formation of the Executive Committees and provision of administrations with functions of regulatory authorities. “It will allow us all to take on not only opportunities but also responsibility for what happens in the regions, provide an incentive for the development of regions”, - stressed A. Kachniy.
