Crimea started to celebrate the Day of Russia

On 11 June in the State Council of the Republic of Crimea was held a solemn meeting devoted to Day of Russia. It was attended by the acting Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov, Chairman of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov, Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation at Crimean Federal district Nikolai Vodorezov, head of representative office of MFA of Russia in Simferopol Vyacheslav Svetlichny, member of the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the Parliament of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Tsekov, Prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea Natalia Poklonski, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the RC Andrey Ivantsov, acting head of the Federal tax service for the Republic of Crimea Nikolai Kochanov, head of the Federal security service of the Russian Federation on the Republic of Crimea and city of Sevastopol Victor Palagin and others.

In his speech Vladimir Konstantinov also stressed that the prosperity of Crimea is the best proof to the world of the fact that everything is done correctly. “No doubt, Crimeans will continue to fulfill their historic mission of building a new Crimea. For this we have all necessary: the trust and support of the Federal Center, our determination to achieve these goals, a huge political experience. And the feeling that we are winners!”, - said the Speaker.
To the Russia Day was dedicated ceremonial presentation of state awards.
