Crimean Parliament apply to conferment to Armyansk honorary title of the Russian Federation “City of military glory”

At the extraordinary session of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea adopted a resolution “On the appeal to the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin with a request for the award of the city Armyansk honorary title of the Russian Federation “City of military glory”.

In accordance with article 3 of the Federal law “On the honorary title of the Russian Federation “City of military glory” and the decree of the President of the Russian Federation from December 1, 2006 "About the conditions and the procedure of awarding honorary titles of the Russian Federation “On city of military glory”, in order to perpetuate the memory of the defenders of the Motherland, fallen in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, and preservation of the military heritage, and having considered the decision of the Armenian city Council “On the proposal for the award of the city of Armyansk honorary title of the Russian Federation “City of military glory”, the State Council of the Republic of Crimea decided to contact the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with the request for the award of the city Armyansk honorary titles of the Russian Federation “City of military glory”.
