Senators sent to Parliament a package of bills on deoffshorization of Russian economy

Members of the Federation Council, headed by the Chairman of the upper house Valentina Matvienko prepared and sent to the State Duma a package of bills on deoffshorization of Russian economy.

Co-authors of the amendments in the legislation became Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Evgeny Bushmin, Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on budget and financial markets Sergey Ryabukhin, his first Deputy Vladimir Petrov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nikolay Zhuravlev and Vitaly Shuba.

“The question deoffshorization is for Russia a strategic nature, it is extremely important to ensure the economic sovereignty of the state. To deoffshorization was paid special attention in the President's Message to the Federal Assembly on 12 December 2013. The Council of the Federation together with the Federal authorities and the expert community has developed the relevant laws aimed at implementing of the Messages”, - said Sergey Ryabukhin.
