The Parliament of the Republic of Crimea has simplified the procedure of registration of vehicles for the transition period

The State Council of the Republic of Crimea has approved the draft resolution “On certain issues of interim procedure of registration of vehicles for the transition period”. The decision was made at an extraordinary session on 9 July.

In particular, it is established that the period of transition of divisions of the State inspection of traffic safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Crimea conduct the registration of vehicles with the issuance of the vehicle passport on belonging to the citizens who joined the citizenship of the Russian Federation and registered in the territory of the Republic of Crimea, vehicles purchased before March 18, 2014 under contracts of financial leasing and registered by the lessor on the territory of Ukraine, and was in use until March 18, 2014 on the basis of a notarized in Ukraine proxy.
