In the first reading has been adopted a draft law “On free legal aid in the Republic of Crimea”

On July 9 deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea adopted in the first reading the draft law “On free legal aid in the Republic of Crimea”, that defines the circle of persons who are entitled to such assistance.

In accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation, free legal assistance is provided, first of all, to people with limited economic resources and who need special social support.

In addition, the powers of state authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation is the publication of laws and other normative legal acts, providing additional guarantees of the realization of the right of citizens to receive free legal aid, including the expansion of the list of categories of citizens eligible for benefits, determination of authorities and institutions participating in the state system of free legal aid.
