“Thank you for the Victory!”

Solemn events devoted to celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in Crimean capital began with a celebratory concert program with participation of creative collectives in front of the building of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea and impromptu rally.

The Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, speaking in front of thousands gathered, stressed that the Victory Day is a holiday that unites all generations. “For all of us it is a holiday with tears in the eyes, said the Head of the Parliament of the Republic. - The events in the South-East of Ukraine show that the anti-Nazi struggle is not over. Today perish our compatriots. But we in Crimea have something to be proud of. Thanks to the courage of Crimeans, we managed to stop the fascists on the border of our Republic. Today, when we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Crimea from the Nazi invaders, we are confident that boots of Nazis will never set on Crimean land. Thanks to your support, we have become united public, we have become a single nation. And when we are United, we are invincible!”.
