Grand opening of the monument to the soldiers - villagers in Dzhankojsky region

On the eve of Victory Day in the village Medvedivka Dzhankoi district was inaugurated a monument of local importance "memorial sign in honor of soldiers- villagers", renovated for the personal funds of the members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov, and his first deputy, Konstantin Bakharev, Vice-Chairman of the Supreme Council of ARC Grigory Ioffe, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Supreme Council of ARC on Legislation, Organizational Management of the Supreme Council and Public Relations Yefim Fix, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of the Supreme Council of ARC on Social Matters, Public Health and Veterans` affairs Pyotr Zaporozhets, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of SC ARC on Education, Science, Youth Affairs and Sports V. Kosarev, Chairman of the Permanent Commission of SC ARC on Building, Architecture and Control over Privatization K. Malchikov, as well as Chairman of the Dzhankojsky State Administration Alexandre Sidorenko , Chairman of the Dzhankojsky district council Elena Chernikov, Medvedevsky village head Nikolai Zhelannikov, war veterans, villagers, schoolchildren.

The Crimean Speaker Vladimir Konstantinov said, that deputies of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea considered their most important task of monitoring the status and protection of monuments and places, related to the events of the Great Patriotic War. He underlined that in almost all regions of Crimea the inventory of such objects had been completed.
