“We bow our heads...”

In memory of the events of the Great Patriotic War, the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, Presidium members and deputies of Crimean Parliament in Evpatoria laid flowers to the memorial “Red hill” where were buried more than 12 thousand fascists shot civilians.

29 months the German occupiers did the massacre of patriots and those who sympathized with them, and their bodies dumped in a kilometer-tank ditch.

Today the memorial is a kind of a wreath around this huge mass graves. Here stands the monument of Grieving mother, granite slab on the grave of the dead and the sculptural composition of soldiers, Marines, Eternal fire, a Park.
