The meeting of Public Ukraine-Russia forum "Cooperation - 2011"

June 7 the Public Ukrainian-Russian forum "Cooperation-2011" was opened in Yalta in the framework of the V International Festival "The Great Russian Word".

The event was attended by Chairman of the Supreme Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, and his first deputy Konstantin Bakharev, the Vice Chairman Gregoriy Ioffe, members of the Presidium of the Supreme Council Vitaliy Nahlupin, Konstantin Malchikov, Nicholai Yanaki, Valeriy Kosarev, representatives of the creative and scientific intelligentsia, businessmen, political scientists and journalists.

There were the members of Russia State and regional Duma, the legislature of the Russian Federation, among them - Sergei Markov, Zatulin on the forum.

The moderators of the event were:

the Ukrainian side - people's deputy of Ukraine Vadym Kolesnichenko,

from Russia - Director of Information Department of the TV channel "Russia" Dmitry Kiselev.
Opening the forum, Vladimir Konstantinov said that the event was one of the most significant in the framework of the V International Festival "The Great Russian Word."

 

The Chairman of the SC of ARC also stressed the forum of Russian and Ukrainian colleagues had moved to a higher level of quality. The forum was the part of the interregional cooperation between Ukraine and Russia, cultural and humanitarian partnership between the two states.

At the plenary session of the forum participants discussed the issues of cross-border and inter-regional partnerships as a factor in increasing the efficiency of interaction between the two countries, the potential for cooperation in the modernization of the Ukrainian-Russian relations, cultural and humanitarian partnership.

A declaration of Crimea was adopted after the event. The forum participants appealed to the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev to take part in the VI International Festival "The Great Russian Word" as well as to take its holding under the patronage.
