On the eve of the Victory Day the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic Vladimir Konstantinov met with veterans of the Great Patriotic War.

The event was attended by the Hero of the Soviet Union, invalid of the Great Patriotic War Vasily Kuzmin, war veterans, Heroes of Socialist Labor Margarita Vorontsova and Galina Popkova, Deputy Head of the Parliament of the Republic Konstantin Bakharev, Chairman of the Council of the Organization of Veterans of Crimea Aleksandr Sklyarov, Presidium members and deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea.

Welcoming the participants of the meeting, on behalf of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov congratulated everyone on the forthcoming Victory Day.

“It is our great holiday, - he stressed. - We ourselves, our children and grandchildren, brought up on the Victory day, on the examples of patriotism and courage of our soldiers, partisans and underground fighters and consider Victory Day the main celebration of life. For our country the Great Patriotic war has always been and will forever remain a great pain and great Victory”.
