In Yalta has been opened the VI International Festival “The Great Russian Word”

In solemn opening ceremony took part the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of ARC Vladimir Konstantinov and the SC ARC Presidium members, the Permanent Representative of President of Ukraine in Crimea Viktor Plakida, people's deputy of Ukraine Vadim Kolesnichenko, deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Timofey Kohan, deputies of State Duma of the Russian Federation, Deputy Head of Federal Agency "Rossotrudnichestvo" Georgy Muradov, Director of the CIS Institute Konstantin Zatulin, Yalta mayor Aleksey Boyarchuk, Simferopol and Crimean Metropolitan Lazar, representatives of the regions of Ukraine and Russia.

In his greetings Vladimir Konstantinov, in particular, stressed that on 6th of June the United Nations Organization celebrates the International Day of Russian Language.
