In Crimean Parliament discussed the main directions of preparation and holding of commemorative events dedicated to the 70th liberation anniversary of Crimea from the German fascist invaders and the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory

In the Supreme Council of the autonomy was held a meeting of the V Plenum of the Organization of Veterans of ARC, where were discussed the priority directions of preparation for celebration of anniversaries, as well as issues of the status of monuments connected with the events of the Great Patriotic War.

At the plenary session, which was held by the Chairman of the Council of Veterans Organisation of Crimea, deputy of Crimean Parliament Aleksandr Sklyarov, were present the Head of Permanent Commission of ARC on Social Matters, Public Health and Veterans` Affairs Pyotr Zaporozhets, the Vice Prime Minister - the Head of the apparatus of the government of Crimea Olga Udovina, Chairman of the Republican Committee of ARC on the Protection of Cultural Heritage Larissa Opanasyuk, representatives of the profile ministries and departments, heads of city and district organizations of veterans.

In his speech A. Sklyarov noticed that in Ukraine and in Crimea have been accepted all necessary legal documents regulating preparation and holding of events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of liberation of Crimea from German fascist invaders and the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. He noted that in Crimea in the framework of social initiatives of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych already working Republican programs and projects “To Find a Soldier!”, “Social Pharmacy”, “Social Card of Crimean Citizen” and others. By the Supreme Council of the autonomy has been established a memorable sign “70 years of the liberation of Crimea from the fascist invaders”.
