The State Council of the Republic of Crimea adopted in the first reading a number of bills

On June 4, 2014 at the plenary session of the Crimean Parliament in the first reading have been adopted a number of draft laws of the Republic of Crimea.

Thus, has been approved a draft law “On combating corruption in the Republic of Crimea”, “On quotas and reservations, jobs for disabled people and citizens, who need social protection”, “On the Commissioner on human rights in the Republic of Crimea”, “On the Commissioner on the rights of child in the Republic of Crimea”, “On earth depths”, “On amendments to the law of the Republic of Crimea “On elections of deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea”, “On veterinary of the Republic of Crimea”, the draft Law “On some guarantees of the rights of peoples deported out of court on grounds of nationality in 1941-1944 of the Autonomous Crimean Soviet Socialist Republic”.

Commenting on the adoption in the first reading the draft law “On combating corruption in the Republic of Crimea”, the Prosecutor of the Republic of Crimea Natalya Poklonskaya noticed that the law, as the basis for a system of measures of combating corruption defines corruption as a social and legal phenomenon, but is itself a corruption offence as a separate manifestation of corruption, which will entail disciplinary, administrative, criminal or other responsibility.
