In Crimea has been created the office of Union of Journalists of Russia

For the establishment of the Crimean Republican branch of the Union of Journalists of Russia unanimously voted more than 150 representatives of the Crimean press: workers of print and online publications, TV journalists who gathered in the Tavrida Central Museum on the first founding conference of the regional organization.

Speaking to delegates, the First Vice-speaker of the Crimean Parliament, member of the Union of Journalists of the USSR Grigory Ioffe noted that the establishment of the organization of the Union of Journalists of Russia in Crimea is a natural and very important action. “I am convinced that this organisation will be created, and its members, by their daily work, active life position can fight back in the deployed today informational war against Crimean, which, unfortunately, does not give a positive image to the employees of the journalism Department”, - he said.
